Long long time ago in 1993 the belgian Dance Opera series, I got a lot of these cd's.
Dance opera was such an incredible event back then, I wish it still existed. They don't organize such things anymore :(
This got me into trance, already 9 years ago, so I was pretty fast into it :). I didn't realise it myself it was so long ago :conf: :conf: . |

My first cd that got me into trance was technotrax and houseparty. That houseparty cd was a big hit here in the netherlands. It was 1 cd with 30 tracks mixed into each other. It combined all the housestyles that where available then. So from funky club to the dark sounds of hardcore. There where even party's organised for this.
But definatly does 2 cd's got me into the trance / dance scene. And that was aroun the year 1991 or 1992 |

| Prodigy got me into electronic music and then Chemical Brothers came and blew me away with the CD "Dig Your Own Hole". A couple of years later when I got Napster I downloaded a PvD gig (I believe it was Paul van Dyk - Live in London (04-04-99)) And then just by chance I saw on the ID3v1 tag of an(other) MP3 I downloaded the address to tranceaddict.com . There you go :-) the story of my life |
