I tried to avoid Sushi as good as I could and went directly home after school. Everything felt so awkward all of a sudden. Since I had nothing better to do I smoked some weed and listened to some James Holden. I quickly fell asleep.
When I went to class the next day the seat next to me was empty. I was worried about what had happened to Stu and asked Fledz.
"We were at this Hardstyle event yesterday", he assplained. "There was this greek DJ playing and it was really wild. Anyway, he took some weird , you know, drugs, and I think he's not feeling well."
"", I said, "is he all right?"
"Dunno, we should check on him after school."
Unfortunately that meant we first had to endure another two hours of English class. But to my surprise the man who entered the room was not Mr. Lira.
"High, im Mistah googooly", he introduced himself. "Im ur nu teacherr."
"What happened to Lyra", we asked.
"Eh got hired by a compagny in Cape Town. Thats somewhere in teh UK."
"Something's wrong here", PKC said to me. "Sushi getting sick and Lira disappearing on the same day? That sound suspicious. It might be a conspiracy."
After school we went directly to Stu's place. We found him in his room, room-raving to some ty music.
"Thank god you found me", he said, panting heavily.
"Well", I said, "seems your OK if you can dance to Hardstyle again. We were worried."
"I'm not OK!", he exclaimed. "You gotta help me. I don't know what it is but I can't stop dancing. Ever since we got home yesterday, ever since I took that pills, I can't stop dancing. I literally can't... no control over what my body is doing."
We all stood there and looked shocked at the twisted, grotesque convolutions he was performing.
"I'm afraid I will dance dance until I drop dead", he said.
