Yeah, pretty much every set, at least one. I actually played two of his tracks in my Electric Zoo set this year.
I think this will always be my favorite of John's though. Its crazy to think this came out 12 years ago...

Indeed, thats a good one too. Pretty much all the remixes of Stage One are great, including a lot of the newer takes...I especially like Markus Schulz's remix. That bassline is freaking dark as hell.

Damn how have I missed the Schulz mix? Awesome!

Markus' mix flew a bit under the radar when it got released. I don't think he was that huge a name back then either.
But there are actually a few other newer remixes that are quality. Guy J did one...Chris Lake as well.
Anyway, getting pumped for Friday! Will be my first time to Sully since they reopened. I am long overdue. :)

Is it Friday yet? I need to rock out!
Btw, for those of you who missed Quivver last time, he was nasty. This is going to be lots of fun.

Just a few more days! :-) Also, we are celebrating two birthdays at this party! Stephen Garriques aka Midnight Snack & AJ Clay are turning dirty 30! Come celebrate!

Agreed on all accounts man. :) Quivver is right up there at the top of my all-time favorite producers list. I've just never heard anything sub-par come from him ever. And you're right, he hasn't changed his sound at all really. He just subtlely tweaks it to fit in with the times. But he has been totally steady with his direction over the past 12 years or so.
yes, funktribe rocks, I hope it gets released sometime soon. space manouvres' stage one is def a solid example of classic edm, couldn't get enough of that when I first heard it on sasha's gu ibiza cd.
looking forward to your set as well. what time do you play?
I'm surprised you don't play tracks by artists like relaunch, timewave and michael & levan in your sets since they fit right into the style you like to play, along with the artists I usually see in your tracklists like dousk etc. those 3 artists are all on the mistiquemusic label, my fav label for dark progressive house. check out relaunch-art of ambience or relaunch remix of hurricane, I'm sure you'd like what you hear.

Haven't been back to Sullivan Room since the re-opening but it seems like they're definitely bringing back the same quality talent. Good to see!

Sorry I can't be there. My event is the same night. I wish you guys the best of luck with it :) and hopefully I can make it to the next one ;)

I think I am on at 12:00am or so.
Thanks for the heads up on those producers btw...I like Mistique a lot as a label, but for some reason don't remember hearing those guys before. But I checked them out, and they are right up my alley. :)
See you tomorrow!

anytime zack. your sets are always good, you always play cool prog house which is always welcome in my book, I'd look forward to your sets even if you were playing with no other big names in the lineup. although I'm a trance fan there's just too much trance going on and not enough shows like this, so your sets and sets by quivver etc are a breath of fresh air.
last time I saw you play was opening before the great jaytech and now you're opening for quivver! you should drop a quivver classic tomorrow as homage to the dude, since you're one of his fans too lol

Glad Sully is back open. I heard the BS that went down with that place. Pretty insane and unfair .
