I think its from Star Wars. Not sure though.
Anyway, I find tiesto set very good in the first half then I usually can't find the second half to listen to :D
His 9 hour set was very good though. I really like it. I also like most of his tracks (the originals anyway).
I don't have a hate for him but I don't want to have sex with him either.
I respect him for what he has done to trance and he helped to bring more peple into trance.
I say we drop the thread. Everyone has an opinoin (spelling?) and it will usually differ from someone elses. CANT WE ALL JUST..GET ALONG ?!

No mate, he's there because he was a pioneer who "MADE" the uplifting trance big.
So what if his productions arent that good nowadays, I got two sets from him from the last two months and they are brilliant

| Tiesto use to be my #2 favorite DJ and his remixes were amazing. Lately his remixes haven't done anything for me and his sets haven't really wowed me. So he's slowly sliding down my ladder being replaced by AvB. |

ok... first off, tiesto, is not that good... yea, he plays hit trance tunes that are current. but when you can beat match or count, you need to stick to producing... i've heard enough of his stuff and seen him enough, to know that he is really not that good... the tunes are what make his mixes...
unfortunatly... pvd is guilty of this too. I hold him much, muCH, MUCH, higher than tiesto... pvd and pump a crowd and keep them non-stop moving... and he doesnt only play hit trance tunes... his mixes often get off beat, but thats not enough for me to call pvd a bad dj... he is a great one!
conclusion...
tiesto = okay dj... not

I think the real problem is not about his bad djing or productions but still that he's overrated.
"Tiesto here & there", "Tiesto is god", "I'd die for touching him", "I want a dedicated poster"... I can't visit any board without 1 million thread about Tiesto.
So what about any others dj/producers ?
People only listen to/download music from their favourites artists (and in this case Tiesto again & again...) and don't give any chance for unfamous names. THAT'S suck... |

i have my avatar there for a reason! not to cause flames, if peopel are sad enough to flame me because i dont liek tiersto fair enough! people flame me when i show my opinion and give valid reasons! but then you turn around and say im the flamer?! tiesot did to uplifting trance nowhere near as much as people like ferry corsten! tiesto was part of gouryella and that was it. tiesto was very good yes. but at the end of the day ferry did 10 times as much for uplifitng trance than techdaddy-tiesto. you all just go on today like hes been this popular all along, he hasnt, laods of peopel jsut sprout up and say yeh tiesot is cool because of the name, he was far better ebfore now he is poor. so at the end of the day, like twigs points prove, dpoes tiesot now suck, yes he does. we never sed he always sucked, did we?!

If Tiesto cant mix then me, Armins mixing is nursery stuff. No , The last 10 sets i ripped of Armin there is atleast 2 trainwrecks in them.
