Thanks! Sounds like a damn good time for the $$. Might try to do it this year but need to work out the budget on a snowboarding trip first. If not, next year for sure. |

| I'm pumped to hit my first BPM. I'm liking the line-up thus far. Staying from 4-11 Jan at Playacar Palace, all-inclusive. We're pretty sure we will not get the bands and simply pay to get to the select events we want to check out, especially given that some of the daytime events are apparently free (not sure if it's with A-list dj's) and we want to do non-partying outings such as sightseeing, snorkeling, etc.... |

you know if those non VIP tix are available to purchase yet? I can't find it anywhere. |

| All I can find are the VIP ones as well. Perhaps they consider all their passes to be ``VIP``. Weird. The passes as advertised don't seem to save any money unless you plan to hit every single event and then maybe you save a bit. |

yeah you would be choosing the seven-day pass which is just under $400 when fees are included, so that would be on average $58 day and I hear those gigs average about forty bucks.
Maybe they want to try and sell as many wristbands first? For those who've been before, was it like this last year too, where the individual tickets were not avail early?
Did the wristband price go up recently or are we at the initial pricing point?? |

FYI based on previous years the day parties are free but the bigger named DJS pretty much played exclusively at night and those events, were not free. That might change this year though so who knows. That was actually one of the things I didn't really like about the conference, there was some really cheesey/bad music being played during the day. Hopefully for everyone going this year, that changes.
And yea I wouldnt bother with the VIP bands, just grab the individual tickets which by the way won't get get released until the actual party lineup / dates get released. Once that happens you will have a chance to grab tickets for the individual events. Just sit tight and wait, it will happen eventually ; )
I went to just as many non-official BPM parties last year as the official BPM parties. My fav venue was Coco Maya beach club (where they had Flying Circus & Circo Loco last year) and they didn't have any "BPM" events at that venue. |

| ps. Did the all-inclusive thing last year and really liked it. Would probably do that again if I were to go to BPM again. It just made life so much easier ... Especially the location I stayed at, literally a block or two away from Kool Beach / Mamitas in one direction and a block or two away from the clubs in the other direction. |

Which resort did you stay at? |

The Royal Playa Del Carmen
It's a little pricey but it was worth it for me and if booked early enough you could get it for a decent price.
Their sister hotel Gran Porto Real is right across the street from the Royal and is their more affordable option. If you stay at either or, you are in the best location in terms of proximity to events / 5th avenue tetc. |
