going for the whole 10 days from dec30-jan 9, oh man its gonna be retarded
the vip ticket for the whole thing is like 550 bucks now, sounds like its definitely not worth getting it now, do you guys recommend just paying the cover at the door every time? |

| buy the tickets at the Kool beach day parties. the booth stays open til about 7pm every night. could be 8pm, but 7 to be safe. you'll save a few bucks and will have a ticket in hand. |

| I think is better to buy wrist bands now while they still last. i've going to the festival for last 4 years and i always bough wristbands...no lineups, no hassles. I remember dubfire last year was sold out but we were still able to get in because we had the wristbands. i also heard that they are charging at kool beach since there is so many headliners playing so the wristband is definitely worth it this year! |

umm yeah but 550 bucks doesn't seem very inviting after spending so much money already on flight/hotel. I realize i would still need to pay money to get in but i was wondering if someone whos been with wristbands and without would confirm that it is actually worth the price, i heard the price is slightly jacked this year too.. thanks for all the comments so far btw |

you're probably getting conflicting feedback like me, a few ppl that I've talked to said the wristbands kast year were a waste. Gut feeling tells me they may make it pricey all around so ppl are inclined to buy those things.
I'm going for eight nights but will hit up Cancun on an off night for something different then back to BPM and Playa. There are about three daytime gigs I want to go to and about seven night time ones, we'll see how it goes. |

Prices do seem jacked up compared to previous years, but there are more events scheduled this year. Unless you're the type to bounce between several parties and go to every event it may not be worth it.
There are other things to do down there besides BPM so that could be a factor. Additionally you should be able to buy bands down there or as mentioned before individual tickets. |

Out of curiosity, do you work for, or are you affiliated with BPM?
Anyone else remember events being sold out? |

No. If anything they would probably oversell tickets.
I went last year and I didn't get the wrist band. I bought a select few event tickets online prior to getting there, and then I bought a couple more event tickets at the Kool Beach ticket outlet. I just don't want to feel forced to go to every party if I have a wrist band in order to justify the price of it. There will be nights I don't feel like going out. Trust me on that, if you do the day parties there could be times you'll be done after a long day in the sun partying. I prefer the beach club parties.
Don't forget that there will be other promoters doing events there that are non-BPM, so the wristbands will be worthless at those parties. |
