Because a lot of people were visiting Amsterdam, as it is:

But boy did that ceremony suck, the silence was embarracing, as also they way Armin introduce David as winner. I think Armin must have been extremely happy that he didn't win. |

did he deserved to be number one? i don't know i don't care.. i didn't vote.
However he deserved that treatment. He walked around making fun of the whole industry whole year.. When he heard he was winning, he came to the show all happy and hopes high to be appreciated.. Well the joke's on him as he got the same treatment he gave to the trance fans through out. The only thing was that this time around it was on live tv and on the internet. WHAT A BURN! BAHAHAHAA ING EPIC. |

Everytime these guys try to take their stuff to that mainstream over the top level it seems to backfire. Rappers, MC's, Wii-Motes...the list goes on and on. I could watch this material all day :) I dont grudge them personally for it, but part of me wants to see them fail just for the sake of protecting the music. Not because I'm hatering on them as individuals. The music has been raped and beaten nearly to death in the last 3 or 4 years. Actually more like the last decade barring some fine musical moments in 2000-2003 and the once a month stormer that I'm able to find in the new releases section of Juno/Chemical. The world's economy is facing the greatest disaster of all time. People dont have the excesses to make the scene what these men want it to be. Its time to leave to let dance culture retreat and heal. |

what are you on about David Guetta is way better than Armin, he even did a lovely song with Kelly Rowland, Armin never did anything as good as that now did he
Armin was just lucky to win this last few years
also when David Guetta djs he makes the bass sound more punchy too due to his superior technical skills |

| That video is actually pretty funny. I have always said this, Armin fans are the most narrow minded, cult like fans out of all the EDM fans. The guy has sucked the past 3 years and they still think he is god. This is what happens when you get a room full of Trancefamily/Armin fans. They have no class and no respect. I think Guetta is crap too, but he has been the #1 DJ the last 2 years. So he finally makes it, good for him. Let's just hope that it is not a 4 year run like Armin's was. |

Are you kidding? I hate what Armin has done to trance. He pretty much bastardized it and made DJ Sammy look like he was ahead of his time. He still drops some decent tracks in his sets, but thats only because he cherry picks other peoples top tunes.
