On Thursday November 17th, 2011 Electronic Night Life brings you the New York City debut of Finland based DJ Orkidea!!!
We are extremely ecstatic to about this booking as Orkidea just recently released his new album on November 11th entitled “20” to mark 20 years of DJing. He was voted twice as "Most Popular DJ in Scandinavia" and five times as "Best DJ in Finland"
Through the years he has brought us countless hits such as his first ever release undoubtedly a classic “Unity” which came out back in 1999 followed by several tracks on Black Hole, Armada, Anjunabeats, Solaris, Vandit, and more, four album releases, features on Ministry, Global Underground, A State Of Trance, and Buddha Bar compilations compilations, and collaborations with Solarstone, Andy Moor and more.
He has performed at world renown venues including Gatecrasher, Pacha, Renaissance, Guvernment, Ministry of Sound, Tresor, and more and now we are bringing Orkidea to New York in a nice intimate setting for his debut.
