| Don't worry guys. Being French, Guetta will surely surrender his spot next year. |

| I think it's quite simple. Those who actually have braincells know this is nothing more than a glorified populatity contest and absolutely nothing to do with skills, quality of music or anything. The time we got Mikey into there proved that with the right sort of hassling anything was possible. However the TA one will please the #trancefamily tards more than likely and all will be right with the world again until the 2012 poll comes out. The irony of Harold Camping predicting the end of the world and it falling on the day Guetta won was totally not lost on me however. |

Style or substance? "Substance is everything. I never believe the hype. I don't do this for the lifestyle, I do this for the music."
- David Guetta.
Yeah right. |

| was funny to see him booed at the ceremony. really DJ Mag? you're going to hold it in Amsterdam, taking it away from a Dutch DJ, and you expected a better crowd reaction? |

| I think Deadmou5 should have been number 1. After watching the winner of men singles figure skating skate to ghosts n stuff it tells me Joel has reached a whole new level of superiority in the dance music industry. |

not really. i remember someone performing to tiesto's adagio for strings. plus, let's not forget, tiesto themed the entire olympics at one point.
i guess what i'm saying is that "tiesto did it"... |

yes, but did they win? It is safe to assume that it was ghost n stuff that propelled the skater to victory. |

| I agree that it was time for a change at the top, but Guetta? Seriously? People are banging on about what he's done for the house scene and how the trance family are upset that Armin has been knocked off his number 1 spot... Personally, DG has done nothing for the house scene apart from commercialise it with his dated and unoriginal riffs, and I couldn't care less if it was a trance Dj at the top or not. There's plenty of dj's who are much better than DG in the house scene, Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Eric Prydz, Dirth South, Albin Meyers, Norman Doray, Arno Cost to name but a few... |
