What do you guys think of this being in the COR? I think its ing retarded.

David Guetta is only #1 because he took rap artists and got them to rap over house beats
This guy should be number 1 instead of David Guetta

was funny to see him booed at the ceremony. really DJ Mag? you're going to hold it in Amsterdam, taking it away from a Dutch DJ, and you expected a better crowd reaction?
To choose Amsterdam really was a fail, Armin thought Guetta would win last year. Next year Paris maybe?
Who gets most votes probably is most popular and therefor wins, easy as that IMO.

i wonder what CHOLA thinks of guetta

Just as bizarre as Guetta winning was Boy George featuring in the list at all.

Why? George has been spinning for years.

I wasn't aware that he's done much this year.
I'm not taking away anything he's done in the past... I've still got some of his Fantazia House CDs somewhere in the attic, but I thought it was a poll about the best DJs of the last year (or who can summon up the most votes on Facebook, Twitter, etc...)
There are plenty of DJs still on the scene, e.g. JOOF or Pete Tong, who don't feature on the list but, to be fair, they've not really done anything to stand out this year. I'd class Boy George in that category too.

Yeah, right! I'm pretty sure your expectations are lowered for every gay, British, middle-aged DJ. I'm not sure where you found the gall to grace our forum with your latent homophobic, anglophobic, and ageist ethnocentrism but we've had quite enough of that sort of thing, here. Unless you're prepared to do the right thing and acknowledge his accomplishments without having one iota of disbelief coloring your lame-stream outlook, I'm afraid we're going to have to part ways.
For 's sake! Have a little humility. You really expect people to believe you're incredulous concerning a recovered heroin addict who has enough skill behind the decks to get to number 93 on the DJ Mag list and then be able to take you seriously? Oh, well, I'm so sorry, your highness. Didn't mean to blow your ing mind. You really are a nasty, nasty piece of work!
