Just came back! Dead tired, going right to bed.

Well, I couldn't really say anything earlier cause i reeeeeeaaaaaaly needed sleep. But now that I'm up and at 'em, i can say that marco v absolutely anhialated the crowd, and me included.... His set was phenomenal, and for those of you that weren't there, listen to him live at sensation black edition (07/14/02), he played 85% of the songs and it kicked ass... Marco is super nice, having to go through a whole bunch of people asking for autographs, while he was playing... I'm happy i got to meet him, and hes a class act. Everything last night was perfect, and it made for an outstanding time. He climbed up the charts for me being one of my top 3 or 4 djs, and i'm happy i got to see him, and take a picture of him right next to me... That picture of the whole group with marco, I'm the guy wearing the glasses to his left... anyways, it was a kick ass night, and happy that i was there... By the way, it was awesome to party with all the TAs (Malek, Taha, Mazen, grostrance, milanster, le castrateur, razeryokes, and i dont know who else). My friends all fell asleep and i ended up going there by myself, thank god i was able to party with he tas...

One word.... incredible! Man that was the best show of the summer for me. That's what trance is supposed to be. Nice hard beats with enough melodies to keep it varied. I could not believe how hard he rocked the place. I really think its only a matter of time before he is considered a top international dj. And yes fast is right.. i would definitely put him ahead of paul, tiesto and armin. Biggy PLEASE book him again SOON.
The hilights for me were definitely pvd - for an angel 2002 rmx (at least i think it was.) Hehe anyone notice he followed it with the exact same song paul did in his 2000 mayday set. And G.O.D.D. That song sounded out of this world live. I couldnt believe it.
I honestly think this night is going down as one of the best in my life. Sorry I didnt say my hello's.. no excuse I guess it was pure laziness. Next time though I really want to meet those of you I havnt yet.
Btw.. I had a nagging friend who wanted me to leave at 7:00 after that song was dropped for the second time. I wasnt sure if marco was finnished. Did he keep playing for much longer? |
