They have wonderful originals too.

One very good more like psybient collective from the 90's is Children Of The Bong. They only have one album but I have to say that it's really worth buying!

Btw, thanks for Acton for posting that great Deadly Avenger-track. I haven't heard it earlier and I think it's a fabolous track!

Oh, of course, but I know Brian already knows The Orb, and I think it would be patronising to say "There's this great band called The Orb" to anyone. When it comes to ambient dub they are without peer.

A lot of the releases on labels like Silent Season, Deep in Dub, ZeECc, and Entropy are really nice & not necessarily Dubtechno.

Okay, those last few YouTubes posted are good examples of what I'm not looking for -- breaks at typical dance tempo, ~115+ BPM -- just as I said in the OP. I'd like to keep this on the topic of slow breaks.

Thanks to everyone else for posting some good recommendations, though.

You probably know this one already, but a really, really great track anyway:

You might also want to check out this mix. Very weird Essential Mix, trust me, a lot of very interesting tracks played:

Just remembered this one. Another low tempo dub remix of an early '90s classic:

That's a good choice. I still need to get the original that has the north/south/east/west versions on it.

I have disc 1 and disc 2 on the same label as this. Wasnt even aware of a third one till now.

Yeah, that's a great one. Heard it many times on the Reykjavik GU, along with this:
