Why is this voting called 'TRANCEaddict Top 250? I can see techno, dance and club jocks in this overview... Either change the name or remove all non-trance DJ's from this list!

I'm sure "Trance"addict in its original form, was a place for trance lovers to come in and troll about all their top tracks, brag about being the next best dj, find events, and chill out in the COR talking about just about everything. But, its also evolved into something more profound than that. It now encompasses every genre, and people from all walks of life, from all over the world. All uniting to celebrate in, not just Trance Music, but all EDM. That's why the name of the DJ Poll is TranceAddicts, because we're all TranceAddicts in some shape way or form either because we're here, or because we voted...

for..

Sander van Doorn no less!!

I love how year after year the poll shows the majority of people here still favor Trance. But, as we all know, the COR and Music Discussion have been overrun by a number of hating hipster fags some time ago. What they lacked in arguments they made up with relentless flaming of everything PLUR. I'm quite proud of my fellow #trancefamily members that they were the mature ones, they were the ones to just ignore the idiotic House and Techno and Dubstep fags who would not stop hating. There clearly is no point in engaging in endless discussions with clueless cretins like Jay, bas, Sushipunk, woscar, enydo or similar idiots. Once again, like in the early days, Trance has retreated to the underground, oppressed by douches with taste.
But Trance lives on, for example through this awesome mix!

The differences between the trance and techno/deep house crowd (in LA at least) always surprises me, I assume because I like all of the above music.

The techno/deep house crowds are predominantly white people, fashionable, late 20s/30s, with a dash of diversity (mostly asians).

The trance crowd is younger, early 20s/30s, much more ethnically diverse (about equal white/hispanic/asian), and decidedly less fashionable.

There are a handful of people like me who go to both types of events, but they are for the most part separate. It's a shame, because there is good music to be found all around. The tech/house people need to get over their elitism about trance being "immature", and the trance people need to get over their "If it's not #trancefamily, I want nothing to do with it" mentality.
