Heard Sven drop this in Cocoon at the weekend...maybe its just that soundsystem but what a fooking bassline :eyes:

Sand Leaper
One-two note piano hook, big booming bassline, DJ Pierre-y high pitched synth whistling, reverb/snare breakdown combo...yeah, this uses pretty much every big room techno trick in the book. A tune as effective as it is lacking in creativity.

Business as usual from Deetron, then.

It's a monster for later in the night after you've built things up properly with subtle music :)

cant disagree with that really - for that style I find the simplest tunes are the best
Rodri Santos
I have been playing this since summer but never felt it was the rock solid track of the set

I'd sneak it in with darker stuff for contrast later in the night or if you're really banging it out
Simon_N
Love this track.

Probably because you didn't play it at the right time.

And yes, I'm sure this will be (is?) a huge hit when Sven Väth drops it at 3am to a massive crowd, and I don't necessarily have anything against tunes like that (I love Funk D' Void - Diabla, for instance). I just get turned off by how obviously this follows the "big hands in the air at 3am" techno anthem-formula.

It sounds really good regardless of whatever formula you think it follows and definitely is worthy of playing still.

Rodri Santos
i tend to play more agressive stuff so this usually comes at the beginning of the set at peak time i play things more like:

To name a few, heavier percs and less piano moments that recall me to more chilled deep house tunes.

Yes, I'm sure it will make your dancefloor go nuts if you're smart enough to drop it at just the right time. Have fun.
