I don't know why DJs feel the need to test out different sounds when they first play a club in MTL. We like our music HARD, especially trance choons, just ask Markus Schulz.
Everytime Markus plays here he starts blasting the out of the room right away. No slow build, no testing sounds, just high energy jet engine fueled tech-trance.
Maybe we should send out a memo? |

speak for yourself. i don't. anything over 126-127bpm is too much (personal tastes, i guess)...i like it right around 118-123bpm.
as for the trance night itself, it was 135+bpm allllllll night long. and guess what? completely PACKED.
if it was a profitable night, then of course they will do more trance bookings. |

elitists account for 10% of the population erikakakaka
(and yes I too agree that anything over 128 is difficult to follow but I was talking more in the trance world)
(ps: i too am a elitist) |

LOL Cokenfold...) I've said it before, I'm a house girl but I appreciated trance a lil more when I left that party. U2 - With or Without You gave me goosebumps. He played Traffic *yawn* but it was sickkkkkk to hear it at a rave.
Aria...check my review out on that thread...:eyespop: | :p;) |

118? Meh. That's comatose to me.
But I guess with all this "deep house" making a splash on the scene it makes sense to slow things down.:whip: |
