I really don't know where you're coming from with this one. There are no sounds which remind me of prog in any way - "vocal samples" is really vague and acid is a staple of just about every genre. Sand Leaper pretty much sums up the referentialism of the track. Also, older progressive house tracks were actually pretty short, with 5-6 minutes being pretty standard. The ultra-long journey tracks with intros, outros and multiple phases didn't come in until later on. Again, it's a total misconception that progressive house "progresses" in terms of structure.

Actually, my first thought was "Where the would you put this in a mix?" I appreciate a producer making a track that does unfold through various stages, especially in this era of minimalist DJ tools, but there's a vast contrast between the near-ambient opening and the banging acid finale. I guess it poses interesting questions for a DJ, which is a welcome thing. |

| i don't like it but it does not mean it's a bad track, it has some good moments, and thats why edm rocked, it was pretty diverse and everyone could listen to specific master pieces, now everyone produces music that it's listeneable to almost everyone but doesn't move any feet |

i respect tracks that are creative and have journey, and i wish i would come across them more often(im probably not looking hard enough). when i go digging for older proghouse tracks, i find this type of feel more often, around 2004ish. would i play this one? after a nice edit(oh snap im contradicting myself in a sense), yes!.
