| Yea it's like a the child of early-90's progressive house and modern south-London bass music. The percs obviously wouldn't give it away but listen to the whole track and the way it progresses. Don't forget prog used to have a lot of vocal samples like this track. |

More like ten different cliches. There's the Substance/Basic Channel-pads in the background, brief scattered vocal fragments a la Burial, stuttering 808s from oldschool Chicago house, reverbed white noise hiss from minimal techno du jour...yawn. Scuba has been pushing so much of this stuff recently, to the point where I'm starting to wonder whether hanging around Berghain so much has been good for him. |
