Is tipping a North American thing? I personally think tipping is a stupid, archaic, custom. They don't tip in other places in the world, and the world seems to go on in those places. Shout outs to the rest of the world.
On a side note, I wonder how many people have contracted HIV or herpes or something because of bad tipping.

I'm really polite to waiters/waitresses, since I know they have to deal with s quite frequently and it's really not that hard to be nice to them. Also, I don't want my food ed with and have heard many horror stories.
I've only not-tipped twice and that was for amazingly terrible service. I've given low tips a few times when the service was bad or the person was rude. I normally tip a good amount, and if the service is extremely good or the person was extraordinarily nice and helpful I'll leave a very generous amount. It's not much money to me and it will help them out and make them happy, so why not? |

reminds me of another time:
its a nice summer day,im walking into my favorite pizza and sub place to pick up my order when i see really nice rx7 convertible(not the fast and the furious generation model the gen before that) sitting sideways at the end of the parking lot.and theres a guy sitting outside the pizza place yelling at them through the glass window,having a COMPLETE MELTDOWN.
as i walk up he sees me and says "THOSE GUYS HAVE MY KEYS!!THEY WONT GIVE THEM BACK TO ME!!! ARRRRRGFGTGRAGVDJERTYUIOJHGFASDFGHJK!!!!!!!!"
the guy seems drunk to me.so i walk inside and go "uhh hey guys W.T.F. is going on with that guy?"
all the guys who work there are related and pakistanian. the head guy says to me: "the man.he come in here.he order food.and then he complain that we take too long,then he start insulting us.insult our country and race.we get him his food.he throw money at us and walk out."
"sooo did he leave his keys in here?" i ask
he looks at me with the most evil smile on his face: "i dont knowwww"
and everyone laughs.
oh my god i think to myself: they just pulled a "clerks" on thios guy!
i stuck around long enough to see the tow truck come to take the guys car away. |
