| They own The Yost so they might as well get rid of the middle man. Sutra was in an awful location with tons of cops patrolling at night. I know tons of people that refuse to go there because of Costa Mesa PD being absolute dicks giving tickets for minor infractions like not stopping completely making a right. It was nice being able to go to Yardhouse and getting faced before hand but the club itself sucks ass. The smoking patio would be alot nicer if they would get rid of all the couches and have much more room to hangout |

| I thought the Yost was owned by the guy who used to own Koo's Cafe? |

| Really? I'm probably wrong but I had hard that from a random person at Sutra a few weeks ago Giant owns a part of it |

I was right. Unless something changed recently.

"For the partners who manage the Yost—Dennis Lluy, founder of the late, great punk-rock venue Koo's Cafe, and Level One Promotion head honcho Dave Leon—the reopening is a gigantic feat."

| I'm going to see J00f there so I'll be sure to post a review of the venue |

I ing love Sutra. I like my dj's up close and personal. |

| Both clubs are fine. There are DJs that will make Yost look empty. |

Occasionally. Depends on the set they played. |
