I would like to hear some of these superior presets.

I don't mind to use some presets as long as they are no more then few dollars, I rather focus on production and melodic intend then sound programing, I think I feel more comfortable producing track then producing sound and will use whatever is available in my toolbox to achieve my production/atmospheric intend.

Some my presets are from www.aelyxaudio.com --> give me extra sound uniqueness with/to my production style.

mine aren't presets as you call it, i don't know how to build my sounds from scratch yet but i adapted the existing Sylenth presets to what i preferred.

Though if you expect people to pay 45$ for a preset pack they should be outstanding and most of them seemed pretty mediocre as i stated.

And I thought Vengeance and CFA Sound had stupid prices...

I don't hear what is so mediocre about them. They sound pretty good to me. These might be as good as Sylenth1 presets get.

In defense of the person who created the patches, it's possible that Beatport told him what to charge. That's what happened with my patches on TrackItDown. They're on there for like 2x the "recommended price" from my website.

What % is a designer going to make off of a pack?

50%. So double the price makes sense.
