Managed to sneak out to Dubfire after Fred E @ Daome.
Haven't seen Stereo that packed on a friday in a very long time! A whole new generation of Stereoheads in the temple! Good vibe for the Night. This was the track I hit the dance floor too..was Really suprised to hear it..an oldie and even posted it back a month ago. Happy Birthday Maher! Sorry man, I just missed your time slot. Run out of gas and Packed it up at 7.

Little review: Came @ stereo around 2:30 and had a chance to catch some of Maher Daniel's set. Love how he played, great variety of tracks! Any chance you can tell me what was the last track that you've played? AMAZING ch00n. Dubfire came in at 4:30ish and stereo was pumping. The place was very packed for a dj that comes very often to stereo, for a friday. All in all, his set good, but not amazing/special. It was the 2nd time that I see him and I was hoping for him to take a different direction. He started the first hour which some good tech, not very fast pace. I felt that it was very loopy. As for transitions and djing skills, very very good. As for track selection and mood/vibe : Good, but nothing more. I was expecting him to go very dark/cruel and high intensity. I was expecting a similar style to Danny Tenaglia when he came on a thursday or D-Formation @ black and blue. Dubfire pumped up the intensity of his set for 2-3 tracks and then he cooled off right away which was a major downer for me. He gets me going and right away slows the tempo :(. Good looking crowed, a lot of young people but the crowed stayed pretty late.
