| I think guys ur totally missing out here .. tiesto has been changing his style for a while now tiesto is not gonna stop playin epic trance but hs adding prog to his style and imo i love his new style and i loved his old style too .. it's no shame for a dj to change and i think he is one smart dj who is tryin to attract more enlightened audience by his new way .. when u come to think of it starting a set with prog then building it slowly to the climax then some epic tunes and then prog again or somthing is the thumb rule for the success of a set imo .. ne way when he said "prog is dirty" maybe he was just joking or maybe he meant the elements of progressive music has dirty sounds to it and thats not bad thats how prog is ne way .. |

when tiesto said that "progressive was a dirty word" i guess i just took it different, i didn't take it like he hate progressive... to me, i thought that he meant that the word progressive is too general and used too often to describe different types songs.... both tiesto and sasha are spinning king unique - sugarhigh, so is that track prue progressive, or do you notice a little trance in the track as well...
basically, im very happy that tiesto is finally sporting another holden track.... holden is the ... :p |

| I dont think Tiesto said that Progressive was , maybee its your imagination or you just lisen to what people say wich is bull. So if he span a progressive tune, is that wrong. The tune is mint and every loves it when he played it, apart from the poeple who only liked sets from tiesto @ energy 2000. Unfortunatly brilliant trance tracks like that are just not around today :( Sorry dude. |

Hmmm... I still think Tiestoīs ing great. Drove to Amsterdam to catch him at the DutchDimension Solo tour, now flying to Cream@Amnesia on 29th to cathc him there... (between that itīs trying to catch PvDīs parties :) )
So what if he plays similar sets ? He ing delivers... people are screaming their heads off and are really enjoying themselves... and to be honest, when I go out partying I donīt just want to hang around the edge of the dancefloor and tap only a foot - but want to go ballistic as it is going to be guaranteed on 29th :)
Oh, and actually I like sometimes to recognize a tune that I heard at another party... there are people who donīt spend their lifetime collecting mixes and discussing "the xyz-mix was 2bpms faster or 4/4 extended" and stuff like that and who donīt listen to the "cutting edge" of trance or whatever...
So, I for one will go completely crazy when Tiesto plays stuff like Southern Sun or PvD will spin NU NRG stuff - although thatīs not really new stuff, isnīt it ?

I think so, but it can not be to deep. The digweed & sasha sound is for a club too deep. it's not my style to wait 20 mins for the end before i go full 100%. The try to keep the climax only at the end. It feels like an orgasm which is not @ 100% but at 50%.......
That's totally different with the commercial trance music. 'My style is between those styles. My music is like good sex. |

I do respect Tiesto as a pure trance DJ and that's about it. NOT progressive.
