Please forgive the Amateur dj mixing :) but please give feedback!
It's a very deep/tech groovy set :D
Alex
I liked your track selection. And the programming was good.
But...
I can't ignore the bad transitions and volume issues. You should try and master the basics before posting more sets.
I know it's hard to resist posting when you have a bunch of great tracks to share, but ya, get those basics down.
You'll do good in the future, I think. :D

You already have your own sound which is great because it doesn't sound like everyone else. I recognize several different ''influences'' in this set. Versatility and infinite musical knowledge are some of the keys to becoming a great DJ imo.

Thanks Alex and Passkal for the reviews! Alex I'll try to remember for next time, I seem to remember even before when I posted a set, I had the same problem. Gotta read upon it more to understand fully what I'm doing wrong. And thanks passkal and Alex again for the kind words :)

it is the thing you should concentrate the most on after listening.

The good news is...
Phrasing is ing easy with Trance/House/Techno etc.
Then again I come from a musical background, but I think it is quite simple to pick up.

Well thats just the thing, I don't come from a musical background.. Well if you call taking choir classes in 6-7th grade then I have a little. But I get what you guys mean with the phrasing. I never really took that into account, after you guys mentioned it it nows makes complete sense. Next time my set comes, phrasing will be perfected hopefully.

just don't do what markus does and you will be good. :p

Try not to make the mistake of thinking that 4/4 time means 4 kick drums per measure.
4/4 time is what a lot of house/techno/trance is formed around.
4 beats per measure each beat being a quarter note.
4 quarter notes = 1 whole note.
In a lot of dance music, there are small changes every 8-16-32 bars.
That isn't exactly a full on "rule" but it will help when introducing yourself to phrasing.
