Come celebrate the dawn of the new year in a big way as District 36 welcomes back the mighty STEVE LAWLER for an extended New Year's Day set. The party begins at 1:30 AM on Sunday, and continues into the afternoon as the VIVa MUSiC honcho returns to D36 for another dancefloor assault of his signature blend of cutting edge house and tech. Joining him will be NYC's Cristian Arango and Sleepy & Boo, with the MIRF Room rocking late as well. I wonder what happened. I've always had a pretty good time there but I only hear of DJs and promoters unhappy with the place....except for the sound. Puts sleepy and boo in an awkward position. |

| I been to D36 once to see VC, and that spot is wack-ass and over hyped. Support your smaller spots that didnt need to spend millions to have a good feel, shows that money can't buy a vibe. It's like a hip hop club faking being a edm club. |

Why? They don't own/run the club. If anything, you should be asking for explanations to the owner, who makes all the calls in running his club. Sleepy & Boo just work for them and it would be in really bad taste for them to talk badly about a place where they work, no need to bash them for it, it's business. If you don't like it, don't go, simple as.
D36 is def not my favourite place, but it's an option. It could be worse and YOUR favourite places could be overrun by guidos. |

I'm not bashing anyone. I just said it puts them in a weird spot because they work with and are friends with a lot of these DJs and promoters, but at the same time the club they work for is ing over all these people. I also said I've had fun every time I went so I'm not sure why you're lecturing me, lol |
