good read...

Drugs start good but always end bad... over the course of a lifetime.. I am actually happy I went thru the party phase starting from 17 because I know some people that don't get it out of their system or aren't exposed to it till their late 20s, and when they start them late it usually ends with a bad note...

Personally I had so many ed experiences I got tired of it and now feel like I would rather troll and post in the deep techno thread then go out every other weekend and try to chase the rabbit that ran away a long time ago.

hahaha omg misha youre sooo jaded

hahahaha it's so funny (not in a mean way but a funny like WTF kinda way)

ive been in the scene since I was 17/18 and I'm 25 now. That means I've been in the scene for 7 years and still not jaded... maybe I'm at times a bit of an elitist but THAT'S IT.

all you wanna do is troll and post in deep techno thread hehehe

i miss ur shenanigans you should come up to Montreal so I can feed you cocaine and pills and we can pick up some rippers at muzique

i promise no 2cb/acid

Gonna have to agree with Misha on the drug thing. In the end it usually ends up turning pathetic or bad. There are definitely exceptional cases of people with very high self control. The problem is most people who decide to start doing drugs don't have much self control in the first place.

I started at 17 and it was probably for the best. Now I have all kinds of stories to tell my cats.

Would you give ur kid that if he/she had ADD?

Again, it is overprescribed. There is no doubt the pharma companies are pushing it way too hard and many doctors accommodate by handing it out left and right. Many parents also rush to a quick cure like a pill in cases that it is actually more harmful to their children. However, that is not the fault of people who have legitimate need for it in order to function properly.

It is speed. Ritalin is methylphenidate, a slight alteration of straight ampetamine. Adderall is amphetamine salts. The thing is that people with ADD respond in an opposite way to amphetaines than people without it. It calms (most of) them down. Comparing your reaction to speed to their reaction with one of the above is apples and oranges.

Would I give that to my child if they had ADD? Yes. Because it worked for me, although I didn't find out until almost 20. It turned my life around. ADD/ADHD treatment by prescription is a trial and error approach. You try one medication, if it works, great, if not, try another. From there it is a matter of managing side effects.

And even if you would call ADHD a chemical imbalance in the brain, did you know that most geniuses had ADD and didn't have it treated?

It is not what I would call it, it is what it is. ADD/ADHD is a neurotransmitter imbalance along lines as depression, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I did know that many geniuses had ADD. I also know that for each one of them that managed to find a field in which their unique capabilities were rewarded, there are a thousand who cannot arrange the basic faculties of life that most people take for granted. Should a thousand suffer so that society can benefit from one genius?

This is used to dumb down society...

You are regurgitating the pop mentality against something that you know very little about. I don't hold that against you if you didn't know better, but there is much more to this subject than you have been exposed to.

Why is it that the ugliest, weirdest people always dominate the podiums?

Sounds like you studied your , but I personally know a few doctors who did the same and they share my point of view.

If in doubt prescribe VODKA, imo, would have similar effects :P
