Do you ever listen to them? If you do is it usually one narrator or more?
I always felt it'd be weird listening to a book and I would never be able to concentrate on it.
I've recently downloaded audio book of The Hobbit, and the BBC's LoTR,
it's been helping me to fall asleep, but I dunno if I'd be able to just sit down during daytime and listen to it

All the time. I even bought a text-to-speech thingy so I could listen to the books I've got on pdf/txt.

One. I don't think I've ever heard an audiobook with multiple narrators.

I figured if I had any responses to this thread it would come from you:D

Some of the voices do sound clunky and unnatural, but the ones this program offers are actually quite good:
The two only voices I use (Amy for RP and Joey for General American) don't sound at all artificial. Brian (yet another English voice) sometimes talks as if he was dictating notes during a colonoscopy, and I don't really care much for the other voices. I want to try the new Aussie voice to see if it sounds as dreamy as Stu's

I totally need a "Read the message mate, come on" to match the phone ring :p
I used to have zeJayman reading a text as my alarm tone, but the background music I mixed it with terrified Kaoru :toothless

Audio books: no, never. Dunno why. For me a book is to be read. I can't and don't want to concentrate on it when it's read to me. The whole thing feels somehow wrong, but it's probably just a matter of getting used to it.
Oh wait... I do know why I don't like them. Cause it's the opposite of what Lira says! :p
Also, this seems to be the proper place to repost this:
