I find this view you’re criticising extremely unsettling: it’s akin to saying that, because we can’t all be geniuses, we should be content with ignorance - and being dumb is normal. Sure, in a way we’re all mediocre at best, and we can only know so much... however, it shouldn’t ever be an excuse to slack off. Likewise, just because being über-fit is difficult, that doesn’t mean being chubby should be seen as normal or, even worse, desirable. I’ve been a bit idle this year due to loads of problems, but I can’t say now-prominent stomach is something I’m comfortable with... so it's not like I'm being hypocritical or anything. |

| You also have to love how fatties believe that eating food is a right that everyone is entitled to. Like to eat sensibly is such a ing chore and somehow abnormal. You know, like in weight watchers commercials when they say "Don't give up the foods you love!" and show shots of ing cake and pizza and burgers and . The way society coddles the fat and lazy is repulsive. |
