With Randalls island you almost have to find another way to the island.
In Miami it has already been that you can either drive, use the bus, use the people mover, or take a cab. One way or another it is possible to find your way back.
The problem (compared to EZoo) is greatly improved by the number of people who have hotels in downtown Miami and only go to Ultra and care nothing more about the rest of Miami Music week or the conference. There are 0 hotels on Randalls island. |
For ezoo you could always walk across the bridge to manhattan. It only takes like ten minutes. I did this all three days and was always in lower manhattan before my other friends who had bus or ferry tickets. You don't have to wait in any lines. Just walk across then take the subway on 125th st. Hooray for cities with excellent public transportation! Something seriously lacking in almost every other American city :(. |

That's what it looks like. That puts me in a dilemma. Should I just stay all night and sell my Armin + Friends at Mansion or leave right after Armin finishes his ASOT set to get ready/ride over to Mansion. Kind of funny that Guetta is still not closing out , despite his "success." |

| I remember seeing Chemical Brothers close out things last year, and saw Orbital close things out at a side stage the year previous. Not to thrilled with seeing AvB close out things this year, but I would take this over Guetta. |

| Yeah, while I like Armin. I would have liked to see something spectacular like the Chem's again. They closed out Ultra with a bang. The visuals and music was banging. I have no regrets about leaving ATB and SVD's sets last year for them. Guetta would have been way worse, regardless of his popularity the stage last year was relatively empty. Heck, because of Guetta I got almost up on the railing center stage for the Chems! Thanks Guetta for sucking so much! |

there are over 2,000 tickets available just on stubhub so it seems a lot were bought for scalping... there are 50+ tickets to be had for $300 or less.... the highest price on Stubhub is $769.
I think when you see a ridiculous price of $1,000 its just extreme wishful thinking by someone. No harm putting that up there as there is no cost to list at either place.
Also, Masquerade Motel tix are selling for as cheap as $80 now versus $125 face!!! |

seems like the price just took a nosedive for these... last time i looked just a few days ago, i think the cheapest tix were $100 more easily. Watching ticket prices is like the stock market lol... SHM tix have dropped by 50% on stubhub for that friday....
bottom line is that there is a time element here.... if you bought for resale, you have about a week to get your $ or you are screwed.... so stands to reason with so many tix our there for purchase some people just want to get something. And weren't the initial tix $150? still leaves room for a nice profit if you got lucky at that price... |
