this was as close as i got... and you will have to keep re-applying colour if you want it to look half decent, but it's not that much work. |

How often did you have to reapply the colour? A friend of mine recommended using "Special Effects", because she claims the dye sticks to the hair until the end of time. |

Last time I had it was a couple of years ago, thinking of bringin' it back. Nothing hardcore tho'.

edit: dying it was a bitch tho', i was told my hair got a very strong pigment(?) so it was a very hard to bleach it |

i re-applied it every 2 weeks or so, just to keep it looking fresh, lol... but i also had the advantage of using a colour that was able to lift colour molecules and deposit colour.. so it didn't bleach the hair as bad. When you bleach your hair it blows out the hair cuticle, making it really easy for colour molecules to wash out.. so the more colour you apply, the better, also using a shampoo that has like a 'booster' of that colour in it will help. |
