Should Lira get a mohican?

That is, a mohawk in Americanese.
I haven't chosen the colour yet (probably blue or red), but I'm definitely going to get a liberty mohawk (if the name doesn't ring a bell, think of the Statue of Liberty). I just realised I don't have a boss so, as a PhD student, there's no reason I shouldn't get one (before anyone says it may "hurt" my credibility, please remember most professors look like hobos and care very little about appearance).
Anyone ever had one? Did you dye your hair? What colour do you think would look good on me? Share your experiences, thoughts and, as the French call it, les trollages :) |

| I dunno if you've ever colored your hair before - but if you want the color to be really vibrant, you have to bleach it first. :) |

I know, I dyed it blue a few months after I graduated from high school.
My greatest worry is whether the colour will stick - dying it over and over again doesn't sound like a good idea. |

No. I just thought to myself "Hey, mohicans are awesome. Why not get one?" and I'm now doing some research on whether or not it is worth the hassle.
Unless keeping a 'hawk is too pricey, I'm definitely going to give it a go. |
