| I'm using Ableton 8 now primairly for its VST compatiablity, however, I still like Reason's piano roll and loop features. I also use it to "draw" and program my drum sequences although I am getting acclamated to using my Midi Device to play my drum loops live as they get a little more groove than a typical 16 step sequencer. Of course one could always apply a groove patch and shift the steps a little but I'm beginning to like sampling better than using the ReDrum. It takes time though =) |

Logic - most stuff
Ableton - sample manipulation stuff
Digital Performer - standard DAW in the music for media area
ProTools - engineers like protools format. |

| Wow digital performer, haven't heard that name in a while. An old roommate of mine swore by it but I just could not get into it. Couldn't figure out simple midi editing/looping |
