| It's a great daw. Everything you need is on the main window. However I missed some native Cubase plugins that are essential to my workflow, so I didn't switch. |

Just finished a ~30 track (including effects tracks, Bitwig doesn't call them buses :p) project in Bitwig just fine. Know some people that have done ~50 track dance projects with no performance issues either.
After a few months of my switch to Bitwig, here is what I like:
1. Automapping of VST parameters to your controller via Preset Macros. You don't need Komplete Kontrol or Akai's new equivalent, its built right into your DAW.
2. Plugin Sandboxing. Seriously, the fact that one plugin crashing doesn't your day up is just awesome.
3. The way multi-out VST is handled in 1.1 is extremely intuitive and stays out of the way.
4. Containers, containers, containers. Being able to do complex modulations, VST layers, chaining, stacking, etc all inside of various container types is simply amazing for sound design. You basically have a modular system at your disposal with your VSTs which can be saved into auto controller mapping presets.
5. Cross platform support that doesn't skip a beat sending projects back and forth.
6. Controller scripting system allowing you to do all kinds of powerful stuff / custom behavior if you know Javascript.
Everything I don't like is being fixed in 1.2. We are getting high DPI / Retina support and track grouping among other things! |

| Finally got my license approved thru the website. Now how do i get 8 channels of omnisphere like i did in logic. I checked the website and even downloaded the template but its still one channel and instance. I see 8 levels but only 1 midi editor window that only works level 1, i'm confused. |

Juan it should be in the manual which is really good BTW. Basically you make an instrument track and instead of sending it to master send it to your multi-out VST and select the midi channel that appears right by the selection dropdown.
All multi-out VST's have a button on them that lets you add all of their outputs to child tracks that show when you expand the VST in the mixer display. |

Hmmmm...I might have to buy that Dark Zebra now (and get Zebra3 for free when it's released). |

The developers are cross-promoting. Log into your Bitwig account and there will be a coupon code for the U-he store. Your U-he account will only have the coupon code to buy Bitwig at $50 off. |
