Wow, what a long ing night!
In line at 7 and still like 20 people from the front, some guy got there at 2 in the afternoon for god's sake!
Max played an amazing set, got the crowd moving, read the crowd good. This night was just full of surprises!
Saw Nelly Furtado in the Dj booth chillin', saw a lot of peeps that i recognized from various parties.
The night was toped off by me and Ruffryda shaking the man's hand (Max Graham) and meeting him before he left with one of the bartenders.
Paul Walker really kept things going at the end of the night! Pretty packed but theres always room, u just got to know where to find it!
Sorry that u couldn't make it kamakazee, it was a blast!

Oakie was good, but after hearing an upbeat set like graham's Oakie kind of lost the crowd, he slowed things down too much i think.
Great Intro song though for Oakie, but then he sloewd it down. |

tonic was rammed to !! but i didn't mind that at all. max graham was off the en hook!! plz do me a favour and go see this guy next month @ turbo!! he honestly plays for the crowd!! so much emotion and energy, after watching him spin, all i can do is grin ear to ear!! like what ev said, oakie then came on and stunk the place up. totally lost the crowd after such a pumping set from max. oakie played maybe 3 good songs, the rest were slow vocals, ok break beats and the occasional retro remix. very disapointing in my eyes!! the resident dj who closed the night put oakie to shame for god sakes. over paid pile of !
but onto a positive note. i decide to go get a drink at the bar, wow, who's is standing there? none other then max graham himself. i stood and talked/complimented him for a few mins b4 he departed on his rendevouz. he is such a down to earth guy! the fame has not gotten to his head what so ever!!
overall good nite, great people, really hot chicks every where!! what more can you ask for? also, b4 last night, graham just finished his new track and premiered for us @ tonic. thought that was really cool. well, it's 2pm and i haven't gotten a wink of sleep yet. time to find the bed now. i'll be out of commision for the next few days. | Well since i didn't go last night i recorded the set from 12-3am; i got the end of Graham's set and i guess the beginning of oakies (haven't listened to it yet)... |

| Hi guys I'm a long time lurker...first time poster! Anyway, like everyone else I thought Max had the better set...but I thought Oakie had a nice dreamy set but I've totally heard way better. As for System Soundbar it was the cheaper choice for Oakenfold...it had the perfect room for dancing jus' enough...the screen was cool and the vibe was ok too...the place went mental whenever there a Tranceport track which was cool...I think he spun the Greece 2000 track. One complaint...how come a Vodka&RedBull is ten bucks???? |
