they need to allow AU and VSTs. I mean Sibelius even does this. They have the code. it is ridiculous why they can't do this in less than 20 man hours.

Not within the software. You have to use Jack or Soundflower which increases the latency overall.
I just want to be able to set Maschine as a deck within traktor. Right now it is set as a live input through virtual cables. It's kinda messy to do it.

Sibelius is a notation software. Traktor is a dj software.

Traktor 2.5 and the New Kontrol F1 are coming out in April. The new Traktor is being called by NI's CEO "Ableton in a DJ Way." He doesn't mention if it's Ableton built in or not but for sure you can trigger clips like you do in Ableton.
