| $30k? I guess he'll sell about 10 of these machines before going out of business. |

As far as I understand this thing in the video is the only one atm, its not in production.
I have read on another site that he finished the synth after 8 years of construction.
Maybe they even don't know if its ever going into production. Something like a collectors item :D |

I don't really get it - last year that video did the rounds and he was incredibly vague/aloof about it as a commercial product, but yet here he is again, having rented a booth for the second time, at considerable expense, to showcase a "product" he seems to have intention of selling.
It's great and all, but apparently there's no way he can make them for less than $20/25k a pop and with no details on production times or build quality, even the hardened analogue synth collector is not going to pony up. |

people need to stop with this emulation BS. ok be analog what ever, but jesus make it do something new. I mean they all do the same ing thing. The only synth that actually does something cool. Like a nice distortion unit for one. Add a ratshack or something. I mean it isn't ing hard. Open a guitar pedal. SOme of those old ones. Add that. And use digital for what it is good for. lfo sync, modulation that is interesting like that can use programming, boolean operators, if , then statements. Waveform input.
They all sound the same. Great. But just all the same. Analog, great. Do something cool that makes that synth unique and one of a kind.
distortion unit really is something every synth needs. And a good one. That is the one thing software is so / so.
And this new cv gate out trend. Really ? I mean that is just stupid. THere are midi to cv converters. putting them on your synth makes it more analog I guess. |

You jest?
I know people over here that cannot fill coding positions as there just ain't enough of them out here.
If only I were 20 years younger and of brain design to be able to learn that . |

| IT is weird right now. Demand and salaries are high since few developers/programmers are available. You can get flexible hours and work from home. In Holland IT is the only field where demand for new employees will rise, for any other type of job it will become harder to find any as those in those fields the companies suffer from the economical turmoil Europe is in. |
