I'm getting old.

Or maybe I'm just getting tired of spending $18/drink at the bar...

who knows.

define "partying"
some people define partying as getting black out drunk.
some people define partying as abusing illegal drugs.

based on your statement, the rationale for the vegas trip was to attend a wedding, so that should have been the focus and main objective.

do a "little partying" what is that to you?

from the post sounds like the cost of drinks was the main complaint, so to that, i say, don't spend $18/drink at the bar!

i dont see why there should be a distinction between legal/illegal, especially when it might make alcohol to look like the "good guy", when it is actually way more harmful than other party drugs

the difference between abuse/prudent drug use should really start to see more discourse, even on TA

The version of this graph with the societal effects taken out:

e: the reason that meth is listed so low as "harmful to others" is because this particular study was done in the UK, where meth isn't a big problem. It would be closer to the top in the US

Yes! I always thought that LA needs a small dark venue just for old farts like us. A venue that would take risks and hire some of our favorite old school DJ's that don't come to LA often cuz no one knows them anymore. A lot of our favorite DJ's either stopped or really cut down on DJ'ing. :(

I agree with this!
