further east it starts to get worse...
this are was i believe they call it RiverTown... the casinos were gonna be built in the area but the idea was abandoned and only a few places didnt move/stayed open... |

| A little pricey...but the hotel is amazing. ALL the rooms are suites, two separate rooms, 2 queens and a sofabed. Beds are the most comfortable thing ever. |

is it ridiculous for the hotel to be more than 3 miles away? some pretty tempting deals on hotwire, and i don't have a group of people to split a suite with. are cabs really hard to come by or something?
seriously considering popping my demf cherry for my bday :disbelief |

I can't see this being an issue at all as long as you aren't planning to go back frequently to change or something. I tend to go with a large group and people have to go run back for various reasons so it makes sense to stay near.
I've never had any issues with cabbies in Detroit and they will be plentiful during DEMF. |

awesome thx. are the afterparties close to hart plaza for the most part, or are they all over the place? and what time does the festival run, 12pm-12am? |

All the parties Ive been to have been fairly close to the center. $10-12 cab ride at the most. The farthest is Old Miami |

cool. thx for the info guys
in other news i saw on fb that zabiela is booked at bleu on may 26, wonder if it means he'll be at the festival as well. the event is short on details but the fact that it's there is enough for me. www.facebook.com/events/236339533118873/ |
