Until wednesday, when she changed her flight to stay longer with me, I thought she was leaving wednesday. I'd had this planned for some time, and wouldn't have been able to see her much last night since she was going to an oscar party. Having fun skiing doesn't really describe it well - I'm enjoying the snow, feeling the burn in my thighs, and am wildly sad (more so now knowing thatshe is on a plane at this very minute)

I can sort of relate. A long time ago I was in a similar position, only I was the one that had to leave the country. It was back when I lived in the UK. Not a lot of fun :(

You get over it eventually. Plenty of fish in the sea and when enough time passes you realise that it was infatuation and lust, not love. Rarely do people bond so strongly in such a short space of time and then keep that going indefinitely.
