I think it would be horribly depressing to be able to view history live and not be able to interact with it. I think most people would not go and view major historical events but probably revisit things they've done in their personal lives and just come away from it worse.

I'd probably just watch next week's lottery or the stock market or something in order to get rich.

Where's the point of being appreciated after your death? Did it do van Gogh any good when people finally realized he was good? I don't think so, cause HE WAS IN DEAD!
Where did I even mention "appreciation"? And as long as Vincy enjoyed painting, who cares if he did or did not become famous after his death?! :conf:
And, for that matter, why would I even care what people thought of me?

You said you wanted to write a book and claim to be a clairvoyant. So obviously I assumed someone is supposed to read that book and be amazed at how you're right.
If you're telling how you just want to know about the future for it's own sake and then write the book for it's own sake or because writing is fun then once again I underestimated just how much of a hippie you are.

I don't want to travel in time, unless I fully know what I'm diving into. Can I inflict some impact upon past events? Is it possible to visit the future? Will I find myself in an alternate reality? Will I be able to return to when I come from? Those are just a handful of questions I want to know the answer of and I'm fearing I won't know the answer unless I find out by going there. I'd say thanks, but no thanks.
BTW, I'm listening to that Time Tourist album, very nice! :happy2:

I wouldn't want them to be amazed at how right I am, but they'd see events unfolding and they'd be able to change stuff (and I'd make sceptics angry to boot). Hence why I'd say I'm a clairvoyant, otherwise there would be no point in telling people what will happen.

You can't fathom me and my hippy manners, Meat. You just can't.

If they were able to change stuff you'd run into the time travel paradox, of course. But yeah, I indeed can't begin to understand your altruistic, benevolent ways.

Not really, I'd... bah, this is going to take a while a to explain, and the situation is so hypothetical I don't think a wall of text would be worth it :p

Listen to happy hardcore;
Read John Stuart Mill;
Don't take anyone (specially yourself) too seriously;
Do all of the above naked in the rain. Running, if possible.
Do it 3 times and you'll have completed my 12-step programme :gsmile:

Just sit back and watch ? Probably the Gladiator battles .. You know, just to see how it really went down and obviously the thrill of the real life fight. The thought of actually witnessing the gore first time, I won't lie, it does irk me .. But hey.. I watched human centipede right ?
Go back and relive my life ? , as was said .. I don't know if I would be able to pull off some of the folk I met by 'chance' .. Haha doubt the luck factor in my social lightening would strike twice..
