An older brother of one of my friends gave me a shotgun and told me to hold it in for 60 seconds before blowing the smoke out. I did, and then I laid down in some grass and stared at the sky for a good hour or two. I distinctively remember seeing purple. After getting past the initial ", this feels ing weird" stages of the high, we had a pretty meaningful and in-depth conversation.
Smoking and going out in a public place for the first time... :nervous: |

| It was after seeing 808 State in Manchester a few years ago. I latched on with some randomers and ended up back at an after-party somewhere. The whole night is a very blurry recollection now, as I was ed on a couple of things. All I know for sure is I eventually fell asleep and some bastard nicked the 808 State poster I'd got from the club. |

Yeah, that was a good night. Remember hearing some real classics, Cowgirl, Open Up (Dervish Overdrive), Yeke Yeke (Hardfloor Remix) and The Man With The Red Face still stand out in my memory.
You should come over here for the first weekend of April. Orbital, Laurent Garnier and this little bastard all in one weekend. |

OOF. Making that date would largely depend on how quickly I could get a passport.
I would like to make it over the pond at some point for possibly a show and a bit of sight-seeing. MAY WE HANGOUT? We could run away to Berghain forevertimes. I would also like to waste as much time as possible in record shops. |

| Nothing special, I thought I was seeing white pidgeons flying around in the room, ate everything in friend's kitchen, was about to throw up but fell asleep kneeling and hugging the toilet, and when I woke up two hours later my legs weren't working due to stopped blood circulation, courtesy of the kneeling position. But they started working again in about twenty minutes. Good times. |
