same basslines, same kind of melodies. Please Orjan take a break and come back with fresh stuff |
In fairness man you were loving Oakenfold and tbh he hasnt changed his production style that much in 15 years! Doesnt make it any less brilliant when he is on form making trance. Orjan is the same |

Some of the sets he played at Space Ibiza were far worse than this. At least this is trancey, very difficult to go full on after Oakenfold. If he had been after LAnge this would be great as we expect Armin to build it up and try and whip the crowd up before going for the big bombs.
Problem every tune Oakey dropped was a bomb and Armin doesnt really play that way anymore until he has built it up anyway. |
Yeah man, it would be difficult to me to change the chip after oakies set
I think i would go home after his set hahaha |

| Eight tunes in 40 mins is pretty quick "power" mixing from Armin too |

Oakie came back with fresh stuff, remixing old classics to new sounds and making some fresh trancy tunes in the middle of this mainstream world. |

It snot really fresh, its just quality trance. Hes always been slightly more goa/fluoro/space the only change has been the psy trance element some of his productions have now. Also he is going for much harsher basslines than he used to. But its still Oakenfold of 1995-2001 its just given a modern twist. |

Not for me im afraid, the pitch bend synth has had its time. Even Schulz who pioneered its use is sick of it now. |
