sander van doorn does not need to play a 5 hour set.
with him playing at popsicle earlier that night its not likely to be a long set.
maybe he will do the same as he did at ruby in summer 2010 when they got a 1hour 45 min set before our ~5hr dusk til doorn the next night.
hope i'm wrong but i'm usually right. |

and last time markus played a pool party at vegas then a 6hr set at avalon.
guess markus is right about dj's losing the art of dj'ing and focusing more on producing top 20 tracks. |

people will attend without needing to advertise a special type of set. some people can attract a crowd without having to do much. put kaskade on a truck in hollywood playing playstation 2 on a large screen and kids will flock...

markus did not play any pool parties in vegas the last time he was in LA 2 weeks ago. pool season goes from march-october.

producers produce,
dj's, dj
some producers choose to play their music at events and make a little extra income. whats so illegal about doing that? if someone is going to play your music via computer, cd, vinyl, why not just do it yourself? |

oh ok. well im sure that was his decision. i'd like to see what sander van doorn decides, and hopefully he decides on a midnight-5am show. I would think that if it was DTD that it would have been announced. |

sander did a dusk till doorn in august of 2010 right when DTD2010 was released...prior to that the year before he did a DTD at vanguard in 2009.
in 2011 DTD was released earlier, spring time, and he played at avalon for 3 hrs.
this year no word on DTD, im guessing will be released later on the year.
but with his change in production and DJ programming, the good days are over. too much buddy buddy with similar dutch dj's..they all begin to sound the same.
and yes im bitter, he used to have such a unique and diff sound, his edc 2009 set was mesmerizing. |

man..... I remember seeing him in Romania July 2008 @ Arenele Romane.. It was a Gods Kitchen Party, Junkie XL closed the night and Eric Prydz was supposed to play as well but he missed his train :'(
HIS SET WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! SO DAMN TECHY SO GOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just looked @ pics, and it was the day after my birthday :D |

i went to dusk til doorn at avalon and left with much to be desired.
He was way out of his realm at tao beach last summer i believe. Not a pool party style sound at all. |

set times anybody?
i've been listening to his sensation and asot 550 set all week, still not into some of the songs but he does play some pretty heavy stuff so definitely looking forward to it. |

his set ends at 10:30 from ETDPOP in SF .. so i say 12. |
