mid 90s 'intelligent' jungle/drum & bass

I know the really obvious names ie. Goldie (some of it I guess), LTJ Bukem, Photek, Omni Trio. Is there anything else that's ace?

Seriously, don't call it "intelligent" jungle, it's the most pretentious name imaginable. It's atmospheric.

Obviously Bukem was the God of this genre, and like Sasha with progressive house it's difficult to name many brilliant tunes from that era he didn't play at some point or another. Apart from LTJ Bukem and Good Looking/Looking Good/Logical Progression/Earth etc, probably the biggest proponent of this style at the time was the Artcore series of compilations on React.

Here are a couple of favourites from that era. The first one is one of my favourite tracks, ever:

I know it's stupid, that's why I put it in quotation marks. But just like progressive it's become a prefix for a certain sound. If I'm referring to modern Drum & Bass I'm not going to use the prefix "intelligent" but I wanted to make clear I'm talking about the 90s stuff.

Would you guys recommend any Atmospheric/Liquid DnB label ?

I've got that album on my To Listen list on Spotify. Heard good things.

I'll give that a listen. Record with that many Discogs reviews are almost always stone cold classics.

Anything more?

Here's a revival label of this sound that I stumpled upon Arctic Music
Not 90's but shure sounds like it.

Definately check out the EARTH series by LTJ Bukem... Which I know you said you knew about, but I still think it's the best and most stellar set of 'intelligent' dnb

And anything from this album: http://www.discogs.com/D-Kay-Individual-Soul/release/1000558
