But as usual they go and do it a little bit differently

Fabfilter are officially my favourite plugin developer, and I think every plugin they offer sits happily at the top of the 'great' tree.

Apart from Twin 2 which is a bit meh

Anyhoo

Another huge FF fan here, too. I was sorta hoping that their next product would be a de-esser or MB comp, but this looks really tasty.

I think the last two releases were the gate and limiter so perhaps they were trying to intersperse the 'mundane' plugins with a creative one. I really like the implementation of multband in this though, and if they did the same thing with a MB compressor I'd be a happy boy! :D

Hmmmmm....since the MB code is already written and they obviously have compression code (Pro-C), FF essentially has a nice framework already built for a MB comp, so I won't be surprised if that's the next release.

BTW, the wide-screen view is a very nice touch.

Have you seen a price for Saturn yet? I'm scouring the web with no luck.

Wow. This looks better than ohmicide.

I'm gonna guess between $200-250.

I'm guessing $179.

Yeah I kept watching the video seeing things like the wide screen mode and thinking 'ohh that's clever'. I also like the fact that individual bands can have different distortion algorithms assigned to them.

I'd imagine the price will be between $150-200 like everything else (bar the strange Pro-L anomoly) although it'd be nice if there was some sort of discount for bundle customers.

oh this is relevant to my interdasts. do want.

I don't see how "this thing" is any useful.

It's shiny, that's it.

yea by far my favorite plugins..

Fantastic!

I love distortion plugins. They really are the one type of plugin that can take something normal and make it interesting.
