true. but see, these people are saying that Putin is closing air for the opposition and no one can actually go against him. I think that there is no such person in Russia yet, and everything else is just an excuse

i doubt its a serious question but ill bite:
1. im not Russian, even though i perfectly understand it and can speak it and am often asked "are you Russian", which i take as a compliment.
2. ive been a refugee more than half my life and my whole family is in Canada. my parents have been through a lot and i will stick with them till they need me. if tomorrow they say "lets move to Russia" id jump, get ready and haul ass.
3. ive denounced my bosnian citizenship by birthright in 2003 and have been trying to get a dual one in Cuba but... still nothing. so Russia is not out of the question.

bratka, if anybody can shed a light on all this bitching and moaning for us, its gonna be magnetonium. all his posts in the past have been extremely educated and right on point and we think alike. i've looked at it from all angles and i cant get it, there may be something that im missing here.
hes good for his people, for his country's standing in the world economy, hes got 3/4 of the europe and then some by the balls with his magnificent use of natural gas resources, he solidified ties with oil rich countries that usa has been trying to ruin with sneaky tactics, china's got his back, he can put a veto on pretty much anything happening in the world... i could go on at least, like 20 things lol.
so what is it exactly?? set aside british and american pathetic attempts to him from within, bribing independent sources to stir up, why is he so bad for Russians, as people and country?
and please dont say democracy, or something democratic, please. in december there was around 100000 people protesting against him and the other day...what was it, 20000?
people voted for him because people arent stupid, even if there was 30 more candidates you think his win would be any less....epic??
