It'd be a really good way to procrastinate making music.

A friend/former bandmate of mine has (had?) an endorsement deal with Nord and will likely get one for free. Other than that, no.

they are all scared to make synths because the last time they over extended the synth explosion, they ,among with other big companies nearly folded. The church market is pretty big. And the only person that is into organs this bad is over 50 and has money to burn. But their keyboard designs are so flimsy, i just wouldn't ever consider it. They need to have a proper weighted and graded keyboard for that price.

So, here's the big Propellerhead announcement:

http://createdigitalmusic.com/2012/...ement-coverage/

An iOS app and they are opening the rack to 3rd party developers. Apparently, GForce, Korg, Softube, Sonic Charge, Sugar Bytes, and U-he are already confirmed as developers for 3rd party racks.

i don't get the appeal of these apps that are fun but of no use. The only good the ipad does is as a controller. Everything else is just stupid gimmicks or fun toys.

Yup. As it stands, the iPad just doesn't replace a proper desktop or laptop computer and the various synth and mini-DAW apps don't integrate into a full studio very effectively, if at all. But, it works great as a MIDI controller and/or control surface. That said, I think a full(ish) version of iReason would be a step in the right direction.

Pulse 2 in physical form. What are the chances?

Focusrite ISA Two:

Ever since I sold my ISA One, I've wanted it back, so this might be a purchase for me.

Not sure. When is that supposed to be available anyway?

(available summer 2012)

Whatever that means. For us, down under Christmas is during summer.
