that frozen 1.2 million with insomniac isnt a whole lot for them. ya its a blow and who wants to repay that much money, but insomniac has had their hands in a lot of events and clubs all over the us since edc 2010, making them tons of profit.
but with go ventures...not so much. that 700k is a big blow to them. they rarely put on shows like they used to. monster was a no go. tao was whatever, and they promote small things in hollywood every couple weeks. might be the crippling move for them |

Fans were really saddened by the cancelation of the Armin Only show at Monster Massive last October, we would love to have Armin Only come back.
AvB: Well, let me tell you that I'm very sad about what happened. To make a long story short, we got screwed and the fans got screwed. I still feel really guilty about that, I honestly shed a tear about it. It's the worst thing that can happen to you as an artist. Especially because Armin Only is an investment. Our equipment was already here in LA, we had a container shipped. For us, not being in LA and not being based in the US, it was a hard lesson. Some people in this industry are not in it for the right reasons. I learned from it.
What did you learn?
AvB: Music and money don't mix. You can mix everything with music except money. As a DJ I depend very much on promoters for my shows. People want me to come to this country or that country, but I always tell them I need a local promoter to help me out. |

| i was talking to a promoter from GV and asked him what was up with Reza's face. He said that according to Reza, that all the stress was causing him to break out. |

at least your sd/lv event is not copromoted with these ass clowns.

I'll always defend the crew. Don't really care what anybody has to say. Billy is close to the crew and knows what I'm talking about. I recently spoke to pas and nothing is bothering him. This only fuels pas to keep moving forward with bigger and better projects. see you at EDC Las Vegas 2012 |
