Oh come on. This interview was done 6 years ago, just after the release of his first album. He's only done two real interviews (both with Blackdown) in his entire career and has never done any gigs or like that to exploit his reputation. |

Completely ing agree. The fact he's had this much hype and only ever done two interviews, speaks for itself. Yes, his drums are , and yes his timing is out (to the point it annoys me) but that could either be he's at programming or more likely, it's by design to add to the mystique, just like saying he makes all his tracks in soundforge.
The thing is, I used to be a ninja at soundforge, and it would be the most unbelievably convoluted process to make a track in SF, it A) would take you 10 times as long as with any sequencer, and B) I'm not even confident it can really be done to make a finished track entirely within SF. |

So what. Why the f### do FLS users have this constant need to feel validated? If it works for you, grow a pair of balls and stop worrying about what the rest of the world thinks. |
I have to agree. I dont see ableton, cubase or logic users creating threads like this, but fruity loops users have this need, I dont know why...
My dear brazilian friend Danilo Ercole is great using Fruity Loops, for example...
I used FL for some years, but I moved to Ableton, I'm yet a normal person and a noob lazy producer, thats the point. |

True, but you're missing one massive point:
Soundforge is a stereo wave editor. It has no multitrack capabilities.
Therefore you could only play two sounds at any one time, unless you endlessly bounced down each merge, one sample on top of the last comp of samples. ing headache. |
