I was walking by Fort York on Friday night and I thought of how cool the Justice / M83 show there will be. Especially now that all of the n00bs will be @ Downsview.

So how are things going for this festival? I have not heard or seen any hype on it whatsoever from anyone (heads or n00bs). However, with Digital Dreams it seems like everyone is hitting it up. I wonder how ticket sales are going for it.
Also, what happened to INK's talent buyer / promoter Jose? Is he still working for them or is he not with INK anymore? |

I heard from a reliable source that Veld has sold twice as many tix as dd
As for Jose, I also herd that he and Ink have parted ways. |

I wouldn't doubt it with that lineup you can tell they're going for the most eager beaver money spending demographic in EDM currently. The "hey mom can I get $150 for a concert and can you or dad drive me and my friends to Downsview in August??" crowd.
Still amazes me though just aside from bookings you can't even compare a beach/waterfront setup to Downsview. But I guess the above crowd hasn't attended enough crappy and good venues to know this. |
