Is that what got all this started? 5 little letters that indicate in your opinion a self elevating perception of myself? Yea, dude, you need unwind a little and not take things so seriously. I am not a rockstar dj. I am not signed to a record label, and I have no club residencies. But I will say that I've been an Electronic Music DJ for 10 years and that I've had lots of opportunities to glad hand with the likes of Flo-Rida, Christina Milian, Jon Wilkes with Red Jump Suit Apparatus and lots of dj's, like BT, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Sander van Doorn, Josh Wink, Christopher Lawerence and numerous others. That doesn't make me any less relevant or more relevant than you are. What that does indicate is that I have a passion for music and that I wake up every day with my sole purpose being to cultivate that passion by doing everything I can when it comes to music. If that means putting together a new compiliaton or working on a new production, or assisting with promotions then that's what I do. It's what I love. |

You know Eddie that's why I created this thread. Because I do not know. I was hoping that this Q&A would ease some of that animosity allowing for my experiene here to be that of anyone else. |

Opened up for Lee Coombs, General Midi, Richard Humpty Vision and a few others. Also had gigs at Ocean Club, Endo Exo, Filter, and Coffee Grinder.
2010 - Current Mark/Filter Appearance and the Soundtable Appearance (Soundtable is #37 in Bar and Magazines Top Bars in the Country.
Not activley pursuing gigs, concentrating on studio time and dancing. |

Given that you don't understand where the animosity is coming from, how come you're not the one asking the questions?
Do you really think it relates to misunderstandings everyone else harbors about you? |

Because I'm not the one attacking anyone else. I live a very placid existence with music being my driving motivator in life. Of course I have other interests but I don't see how asking you why you feel the need to constantly bombard my threads with frivolous nonsense will ease whatever ill feelings you have towards me. I do believe there is an underlying reason why I'm singled out by the particpants in this thread and thus why I am asking you to indicate what those reasons are. Granted, I understand that its acceptable not to be liked by everyone and that some people will never like me but to have everything about me constantly analyzed like it was under a microscope is just a tad obsessive.
And to answer you second question.
Not necessairly. There could be lots of factors that contribute to your animosty, ill feelings, and/or hate. But looking back on the things I've contributed since being an "active" TA Member I most certainly haven't a clue why its this severe. And that's why we're having this discussion. Maybe there are misunderstandings. Maybe your own sub-conscience has elevated me to a higher level, which has cultivated some resentment. Maybe a lot of you are just hateful people. I'm not trying to change you. I accept you for who you are. The only place I'm coming from is how come the acceptence isn't mutual. |

True. You're not attacking anyone. I haven't seen you get heated, very recently, although you did have some moments when you first arrived. It's nothing overt that you're doing. It's subtle and kind of hard to define. It's found in instances like over-stating your credentials in a thread where your professional advice was completely uncalled for. You have a collection of prominent egocentricities that are irksome. Sometimes, like that technicolor rainbow abortion you had as an avatar, you're receptive to correcting them. Still, it took a really long time for you to change it and people remember like that.
I've rarely seen you give feedback to much of anyone but you ask for it, a lot. You seem to think nothing of posting a mix in DJ Promotion. You don't listen to anyone else's work (unless you like the mainstream track list) and, not being a DJ, chances are that I'll post in people's threads there, before you will. You do the same thing in Music Producer's Promotion.
What I've mentioned are just examples. They are by no means, a complete picture. The problem you're having is that no one here likes ego. They love substance. You might not be mean, but you come off like a very shallow douche-bag. |
